MY STORY

Hi! My name is Courtney and I'm a seamstress specializing in wedding dress alterations.  I got my start after graduating with a BFA in fashion design from Otis College of Art and Design, and for 15 years I worked as a fashion designer and part-time bridal consultant in Los Angeles.  While I loved designing, I longed for something more, and I knew I wanted to make a change.  Through a series of unexpected events, I found myself face-to-face with the opportunity to start my own business and jump into the bridal alterations industry, and I haven't looked back since.  That is how Tailored by Courtney came to be.

 

With over 15 years of sewing experience, as well as a background in draping, pattern making, and design, I'm here to make your wedding dress dreams a reality.  My goal as a bridal specialist is to make you feel the most beautiful and confident you've ever felt.
